Those who are homeless represent every race, gender, age, and demographic throughout the country, with a complex tapestry of reasons for their current situation.
Women and children are the fastest growing segment of the homeless population. Helping each woman achieve self-reliance is the best long-term solution to this shocking fact. Employment is often a critical missing piece for many women trying to get back on their feet.

Although Empowerment NFP serves men and women, 85% of Empowerment NFP's participants are women that have or are currently experiencing homelessness, live in public housing, receive section 8, or receive some type of government subsidy housing.
The remaining 15% are low- moderate income men and women that desire affordable homeownership opportunities. The stereotypical female fairytale may have once been; finish school, fall in love, find a partner, buy a house, fill said house with children – but that’s an old story. Today, women are taking charge of their narrative and redefining traditional timelines. This includes buying a home before, or instead of, life partnership and children.
The National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) confirms that women are emerging as a driving force in real estate.
To apply for ENFP Pathways to Homeownership program, applicants must be active participants in building a better home and future for themselves and their families. Every ENFP home is an investment. For us, it is one answer to a critical need, and we believe that stronger homes will create stronger communities.

Career Coaching and Networking take place in the Man Cave. Guest Speakers are invited monthly to discuss topics that relate to male empowerment, careers, starting your own business, financial planning, and more. Our on-going workshop “How to Deal with Impact of Job Loss on Family/Relationships”.
When job loss occurs, one of the first things we think to do is to triage the situation: create a new resume, update our LinkedIn profile and hit the job boards. This discussion will focus solely on steps we can take to take better care of ourselves during this time of transition, and how to increase the awareness around how to preserve and potentially strengthen our relationship at home.

ENFP thanks the men and women that serve/served our country. ENFP offers social service referrals to Veterans and their families. Group Coaching on Marriage and Family challenges, referrals to mental health professions if the veteran's needs are outside of our scope of practice, and access to Empowered to Change programs offered by ENFP.
Career transition coaching isn't the same thing as a recruiter or 'headhunter.' For example, a career transition coach is someone specifically trained to help a client navigate a career change. Normally, this type of coaching is sought out after a layoff or reduction in force (RIF) to help the client get through the tough transition into a new role.
Your ENFP Career Transition Coach also connects you to information and resources to:
The words veteran and homelessness should never
be used in the same sentence.
ENFP provides social service referrals, FDIC Money Smart Adult classes to help veterans learn how to budget, save, restore their credit, and prepare for home ownership.
We also have a sweat equity program in which qualified veterans can become homeowners with an affordable mortgage.
Every woman carries great potential. In response to the unique needs of women experiencing homelessness we have developed a nine-week program with a focus on job-readiness, empowerment, entrepreneurship, self-care, health and wellness. Each class is facilitated by a Certified Life/Career Coach. Designed innovative and holistic approaches ensure women break the cycle of poverty themselves, their children, and future generations
